Here's a serious question that I want to ask. I would like to know what you feel about this situation.?

Let's say that you meet someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with but they do not want kids and you do. Do you stay with this special person because you love them and give up your hope of ever having kids? Or do you give up on the relationship and the love because you want to have kids more? What is the meaning and usage of the phrase "some odd" or perhaps "someodd"?

This is a relatively popular phrase, which I can't find any information about at the moment. I'm pretty sure it means something like "roughly" or "around", but I'm wondering if it is an actual formal phrase or idiom and whether people out there have heard it used often.

common examples:

"He only has 200 some odd dollars left in his bank account."

"I have already been waiting 15 some odd minutes here."

(I'm unsure of the syntax of using it either; for instance, should there be a comma preceeding the phrase in these examples?)

Cornell University?

This is my dream school, and I've got pretty good credentials so far but I've think that I have a chance there. Anyway, I would like to hear people who either are current students there, alumni, or friends/family with anyone there. I want to know all that there is to know about Cornell-- so do not leave out any details! My plan is to major in Policy Analysis and Management, in the College of Human Ecology. I want to work in the field of international health policy. Do you think that Cornell would be the right path so far? All advice would be greatly appreciated!
