Ok, I read something in a book that stated that Shakespeare coined a lot of terms in the English language including the word "drug." Is that true???

the book is called Essential Shakespeare Handbook by Leslie Dunton-Downer, Alan Riding, 2004.

I am currently working towards my BA in Radio-TV and want to apply for an MA degree in Radio-TV at the same college I currently go to. I need 3 recommendation letters. My problem is that some of the professors that I had that taught courses within the Radio-TV major no longer teach at my university and I have no idea where they currently are. The other Professors I have had for Radio-TV courses most likely will not remember me if I were to approach them and ask them for a letter. I only have 1 professor in the Radio-TV major who has offered many times to write me a good letter (I've had him for 3 different classes). For other 2 recommendation letters, would it be ok if I get Professors from other fields to write me letters? Is that really going to hurt my chance at admission? By other fields, I mean classes I have taken in areas such as English, Womens Studies, Humanities and/or Sociology.
I have a 3.65 gpa and will have a great writing sample.

If I complete all pre-requisites and decide to go to a nursing school at a more competitive, prestigous college, is it possible? What are my chances? I understand that I have to have a high GPA, but how high should it be? What else? PLease help.

How much to you study to guarantee 90% or above on an exam?
I think I study very hard but still I am unable to get a 90 on my test what am I doing or not doing? I wake up at 4am and study til 7am.

I've got a friend who wants to change career and has expressed a desire to work as a vet or some related job involving animals.

Trouble is, she doesn't think she can get the qualifications. She had personal problems in school and ended up with bad grades, but I know this is purely down to the problems she had at the time because she is a very intelligent girl. She went straight into work in the office of a taxi firm at 16 and has been in the same job since then (she is now 21) and has been promoted to manager.

What can she do to become a vet? I know her qualifications will hinder her getting into university, but she is definately smart enough to do well if she can get a place. What are her chances of making it as a vet? Or is there a similar job that might suit her that she will have more chance of getting?

I am an adult with 2 school-aged children and I think they get too much Homework. Not only am I telling them to get on with it, but the teacher penalizes them too!
Perhaps their perception is that they think the world is against them and rebel or do so called stupid things.
I think Parents and Teachers need to recalculate the situation from the childs point of view, bearing in mind that we all have done a good days work and need rest and recouperation.
PS Please forgive any spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, I've had a tough day.

have this project i English called Simpson Island. What it is, you pick a person in history and pretend to be them (living or dead) and you are on an island (imaginary) where you are with 5 people and have to decide who is king or Queen eliminating 1 person at a time.
