If it only comes once every 4 years.

I have a friend whose birthday is on February 29th. Though she is in her twenties, we say that she is only six years old - hee hee! She celebrates her birthday on the 28th when it is not a leap year.

Technically, each year has 365.25 days, which is why we have an extra day every four years...so it isn't like she is truly any younger. The exact day just doesn't come each year.

Funny, huh?

Fun question! Thanks! :o)

The end of February comes every year!
But 29th Feb birthday people normally celebrate on the first of March, with extra special party every fourth year :)

Wow! That would suck! I would only count it every 4 years. I would "celebrate" it sometime before or after, but you can only really count it every 4 years, because March 1st isn't your birthday, and neither is February 28th. You could still write "13" on your enrollment sheets and such, but it wouldn't really be your birthday.

You age four times slower than the rest of the general population. The downside is that you get a party and presents only once every four years.
