I am a sixth grade teacher and with all of the pressures of testing I don't have a lot of time to change my bulletin boards and decorations in the hall way. Does anyone have any ideas for a bulletin board that could stay up throughout the winter season? I also need something that is appropriate for my upper elementary grades. Thank you!

My fifth graders always love making snowflakes (I show them how to fold and cut six-sided ones) and decorating the board with a wintry scene. Then we can leave it up all through the winter. I usually change it for Valentine's Day, but since it isn't necessarily holiday related or "December only" it can stay up well into February. Have fun! :o)

In my math class we have to make interactive bulletin boards. This is a compilation of all the bulletin boards the department has made. I hope it helps - you may have to wade through a bit to find older grade levels, but there will be some in there. Likewise, a Teacher Talk with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills should be included with the picture. Some of them will have the activity sheets or other materials also. Just looking may give you an idea. Good luck!

the biggest techniques that the human beings can strive against international warming is getting rid of their older kind vehicles (1979 Buick) because, older vehicles emmitt extra poisonous fumes into the air. Its glaring that the further technological better a motor vehicle is, the a lot less risky gases it emmitts. A motor vehicle that became equipped 3 or 4 years in the past will be extra monetary gadget pleasant than a motor vehicle that became assembled 35 years in the past. for prime populated cities which includes huge apple, Bus and Taxi companys might want to replace contemporary autos with vehicles that are powered by hydrogen or electrical energy. purely imagine, if each and every substantial city used the Toyota Prius as taxi's, there will be a decreased element of pollutants, and also taxi fares will be significantly decrease besides.

Why not pick a group of your students to design it and put it up? You can have them use their recess times to come into the classroom and plan it out. I would also pick some of the children who are usually left out of projects like this. You will help boost their self esteem and you never know what that will do to their artistic and leadership skills. I think that the children who just kind of blend into the background are best for projects like this. They usually do an awesome job. Hope this helps and good luck!

Maybe some winter jokes. Like what is it called when December is stuck in your head????

REMEMBER DECEMBER!

I know it is bad. Maybe some things like:
Vote Most Likely to become a FLAKE in the gym!
