I manage a fine dining restaurant and the staff has seem to have motivation. Lots of complaining and it gets contagious and all that is heard is whining and complaining. I want to motivate them somehow. We increased wages, they already get free meals. I offered a contest to the servers that whoever upsold the most would get a gift certificate, noone participated. Any ideas what I can do to get these servers more motivated? I have even worked with them side-by-side to see what is the problem, nothing changed. It was like I was not even there. ANy suggestions?

I'm getting married in Vegas. I first need a restaurant for the celebration, just me and my soon to be hubby. Price doesn't matter one way or the other, so long as it is romantic, appropriate, and I won't stick out in a casual wedding dress. Also, I'm looking for some really fun casual dining places. My friend is turning 21 in mid-October and a group of us are going to take her out. We live on Long Island; we plan to get a limo for the evening and get dinner and then maybe a bar to follow. whatever it is? who is asking them to eat in mcdonald's? When mcdonald is contributing to community so much? Why dont they target other food chains as well or just be quiet by not eating in fast foods?I am not a mcdonald fan though? but i have heard many people saying that mcdonald is the behind of their weight.

I was recently in Leeds and the first train of two was late and i was on a fixed ticket. I asked because of my epilepsy to confirm with York it was ok they said no. Other parts of GNER had called me a liar and i felt so offended and upset. Has anybody else had a bad experience of GNER in Leeds

Even if the staff are being paid **** wages we as customers dont need to be humilsted. Also any GNER staff in Leeds would be near to here from you
