If it was just British food then I would say Roast dinner with all the trimmings. However, a poll was done and it is actually curry

Sky television on English t.v. did a "Britains favourite food" special. Tikka massala was voted the number one food. It was revealed that tikka massala is not actually an authentic dish but was created by Indian chefs living in England to suit the English palate.
