I live in Amherst MA and there is a Ground Round in the mall that is the next town over. I didn't realize that those restaurants were so old, but they do still have music playing in the background. Unfortunately, they do not have black and white movies; they've opted for regular color tvs that play either sports or news all the time. The food isn't really that great but it is pretty inexpensive. Anyways, I hope that helps.

Wow, there's a name from the past! I wonder if the customers still throw the peanut shells on the floor. That's the way it was years ago.

i haven't been to a ground round restaurant since 1984. i haven't even given it a thought since then. now i'm curious too.

wow ..use to like the ground round... years ago... have not heard that in a while. you could throw your peanut shells right on the floor. no longer in my ohio city. but that does not mean... they are gone from the state.
