I'm using this snazzi PVR tv tuner card to record tv programmes. During playback of the recorded programme, i realised as the playback progress, the video and audio will become more and more not synchronise(audio lagging). For example the audio of this scene will sound maybe few seconds later. For output format i chose MPEG2, 4000kbps, framerate 30 but for audio that isn't much option to choose except the audio capture which i chose the default audio from the card itself. I've tried recording using MPEG1, AVI, and MPEG4 and resulted same problem. I'm thinking is it the kbps or framerate. Any solution to this. Appreciate for any answer.

I purchased an RCA DVD recorder that allows me to save a TV show to the hard drive and/or burn it to disk. The problem is, the Recorder only recognizes channel 3 (the channel my Dish Network reciever connects to); all channel changes take place within the Dish network receiver. Therefore, I can only record the channel I am on. Is there a way that the recorder would recognize the satellite channels enabling me to watch one show and record another?

I want to buy a DVD recorder that will serve as an over the air HD tuner for my HD television when attached to an antenna. But I also want to hook up my standard or digital cable to it (I subscribe to standard right now, but may go to digital sometime) to record cable TV. I don't know what kind of tuner I am lookingfor- or if I need 2 tuners.

I want to be able to record show with the simplicity of DVR or TIVO. Unfortunately, Comcast says that inorder to be eligable for DVR I must upgrade to there $62 per month package and pay another $12 per month for the DVR box. That's Outrageous! Do I have any other options?

My new DVD recorder accepts multiple formats, including the +RW, the -RW, and RAM discs. My previous one could only record in -RW format. Is there an advantage over either of the others? Especially wondering about what makes an RAM different in function, but also wonder if there is a reason for preferring +RW over -RW or vice versa? Before I go purchase new discs, could someone advise me on what is best? (I read something about the RAM enabling you to start watching a disc while it is still recording, etc., but don't i have to have a special kind of TV for that to occur?)
