HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Dish network DVR 625 which I want to connect to my Windows Media Center. I have a TV in the living room connected to TV channel 3-4 out port on the receiver and this works properly. To watch TV on my pc elsewhere, I ran a coaxial cable from the channel 21-69 port at the back of the 625 receiver to the TV-in port on my PC tuner card, using an attenuator between the cable and the TV-in port on the TV as directed in the receiver user guide. I then ran both automatic and manual scans on Windows Media Center but have been unable to get TV signals. What am i doing wrong? Please HELP !

I have my VCR connected through my TV, I just want to add the DVD recorder onto my VCR so when a tape is playing I can copy it onto my DVD recorder. What steps should I be making to connect the DVD. I have tried video out to video in and I am getting a blank screen. Do I need to use a S-Video cable. The recordable DVD is a AWA product and when I have used a AWA video player and used it for dubbing I had to use a S-Video cable. I am confussed

A DVR without a monthly fee, inexpensive, which records in HD (at least 720p) and let's you transfer those recorded shows to your home PC through a LAN or something.

Hi, me and my mother had a chat and we are thinking of selling some videos on ebay or at a carboot but they are on video. As they shortly are going to stop making videos but make DVDs instead I want to know if you can transfer or copy videos onto DVDs and if it is legal or not ?

Thanks

Here is the issue. I have 10 LCD displays that are displaying video from 10 separate computer video cards using a standard video interface; they are all displaying different data. I want to put a splitter at each of these LCD displays and send those signals to some device that will record the video for each of those displays. I want to be able to record this data for up to 10 hours and be able to playback anyone of the displays independently. Does any one have any suggestions on what type of equipment I would need to do this?

Am thinking of getting BT Vision, but at its a fairly new concept, whats your opinion.
Should I get it now, or wait, in case there are "bugs" that need sorting out?

And now it's midnight and the channels still aren't showing up.
How long does it usually take for them to show up?

im asking this for my mother! so please help :) my mom has a HD DVR its a motorola and the provider is cox communications. the hard drive is full and she needs more room she knows about recording to a vhs or a dvd but she really doesnt care for that she would much rather get an external hard drive and just do it that way it just works better for her. only problem is that cox hasnt activated the SATA port (external hard drive) or the usb ports. so that wont work darn it. but i think the 2 firewire ports that are on the back of it are activated! I know u can buy external hard drives that are firewire, but they have software to install (drivers) and i dont think it would work anyway cause its ment to connect a hd tv via firewire! so does anyone know a way to activate the ports my self or could i get a external optical drive and connect it via the firewire port to install the software for the external drive? would that even work? well if u have any advice or ur own suggestionsthanx
