I am assuming you want your music playing from your tape recorder through your computer speakers. My speakers have an auxiliary input so I can run my computer plus another source (like your tape recorder). I have a 30 inch HD TV/Monitor and am using that auxiliary for my TV audio while having the speakers wired from the sound card for the computer.

no of course not the only thing that can play it is a computer,PDA and some varieties of I pods
