This is an older series of internal CD read/write drives. In other words, it is a device that installs in the cabinet of a computer. Once properly installed, you can burn music and data CDs, which can then be read on other DC-compatible devices.

This Philips CD burner is not a standalone CD burner -- rather, it installs in a computer. Otherwise, it sounds like a decent (if older) CD burner.
