Hi General,

Every DVD recorder I have ever seen comes with composite (Red White Yellow) cables. If you have composite inputs on your TV you should be O.K. there and you have blank DVD's so you are good to go.

Usually blank DVD discs aren't included, but all of the hook-ups are.

Additional: It should have all of the cables for at least one IN connection and one OUT connection, plus a remote control. Some provide more. The outside box that the DVD recorder is packaged in should list the contents.

They usually come with the most basic set of cables. Coax cable with F connectors and basic A/V cables (yellow, red, white). If you want a better hookup (s-video, component video, digital audio output) you will have to buy those cables yourself. You will also need recordable DVD's as I have not seen any that come with some.

You will probably need a white cable that goes from your cable box ( or wall outlet) to the DVR. mine did not come with this.
