Hi, me and my mother had a chat and we are thinking of selling some videos on ebay or at a carboot but they are on video. As they shortly are going to stop making videos but make DVDs instead I want to know if you can transfer or copy videos onto DVDs and if it is legal or not ?

Thanks

-Josh

You can copy some DVDs using Nero and yes it is illegal because they are protected by some law I can't remember off the top of my head.

Yes it is possible with the right programs. If it is your personal video then no it is not illegal, however if it is a COPY- WRITTEN then Yes that is illegal. If you get caught selling copy written videos there is a huge fine and possible jail or prison time. I have yet to see anyone actually get caught but I'm sure someone has or they wouldn't have that law.
Aside from that if you were to try and get involved there are so many things to converting a video to a dvd. If you know how to do video editing and all that then have fun but there is so much you have to know I think most people think it's easy. ITS NOT it's very time consuming. If you want to know more google (CONVERTING A VIDEO TO A DVD)

certain! it truly is conceivable to replica video clips from DVDs. In u.s. each thing is conceivable! and commonly (no longer continuously) takes position. u.s.'s Democracy helps persons to be knowledgeable, hit upon, attempt and create issues. Unfortuntely, all issues are literally not criminal, moral or needed. Asking questions in this website, looking WWW and so on receives practise/instructions/supplies you requested--in case you do not supply up. i trust each body must have a "decrease back Up" replica of legally gained leisure medias like backing up computing gadget courses.
