Hi Tbone,

TiVo has its own built in tuner so it can be used as a standalone tuner.

Does your Tivo or WMC be able to get carry of exterior audio/video sign? (in many situations via utilising "RCA-form" plugs/jacks). Does your cable field be able to place out a audio/video sign? what's the situation? connect the output of the cable to the enter of the Tivo/WMC, set gadgets for this reason. Voila.
