can you use a directv box on cable without a satellite?

Where could i get a time warner or any kind of CABLE BOX.

No, Direct TV boxes can only be used with th Direct TV satellite service.

no way,,,the receiver is set for directv or dish,,,it will only pick up sattelitte signals.you can find simple cable boxes at the closest goodwill.
