My new DVD recorder accepts multiple formats, including the +RW, the -RW, and RAM discs. My previous one could only record in -RW format. Is there an advantage over either of the others? Especially wondering about what makes an RAM different in function, but also wonder if there is a reason for preferring +RW over -RW or vice versa? Before I go purchase new discs, could someone advise me on what is best? (I read something about the RAM enabling you to start watching a disc while it is still recording, etc., but don't i have to have a special kind of TV for that to occur?)

Not a whole lot of difference in what you can do with -RW compared to +RW. If we jump back to record once formats DVD-R is definately more compatible with regular set-top players than DVD+R. DVD-RAM is another format again, mainly used by Panasonic, it supports quick random access so features like time slip are acheivable (ie watch start of program while still recording)

IF you plan on using your DVD recorder like a VCR, you plan to view the DVD you burn on other equipment and you are also planning to use R/W disks then I would strongly recomment +R/W.

Why? Well because the way +R/W disks are written enables you to view them on other equipment without having to go through the finalization process. Having lived with a DVD recorder that took +R and +R/W disks and a recorder that took only -R and -R/W disks and watching what I recorded on a portable DVD player I found this difference.

However if you only plan to record and watch on the same DVD recorder then buy based on price.

DVD-Ram is the best for manipulating what u put on the disc. DVD-R is best for compatabilty between other players. Ram means random access memory.

practise is solid, because it teaches you concepts to study, the thanks to discipline your concepts. expertise for a Christian is understanding the be conscious, understanding your God, His nature, His will, His outlook on issues. awareness is searching at issues from God's attitude and putting them into action. expertise is massive, yet too a lot of it may puff you up in case you do not counteract it with fruit of the Spirit. Ever understand someone who's very knowledgeable, yet has no temperance and no love? Their expertise is amazingly almost ineffective interior the destiny. yet awareness? you come across that and your soul shall stay, because once you come across awareness, you come across the way God Himself seems at a situation. Proverbs 3: by technique of awareness the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by technique of expertise he set the heavens in position; by technique of his expertise the watery depths were divided, and the clouds enable drop the dew.
