I'm looking for a device like an apple TV that can play videos from the computer but also a functions as a dvr

I want to get video off of the dvr and on to the computer and vice verca. Any suggestions?

Get a PC, add Windows Media OS, add a Tuner and you are all set. You get a TV guide from Microsoft and you can use it as a PVR.

(Apple TV is nothing more than a PC, but with Apple's OS)
