Just got new headphones and they seem to be putting out popping noises in the background. It only makes this sound while any sort of audio is playing. I have no idea why it's doing this, but, it's bloody annoying. Any advice?

When the cable goes out and you have to call customer service, there are so many prompts it is unbelievable. Then you get disconnected! VOD-Video On Demand has the same problems, error messages like "E205" which means call Customer Service. Then you unplug, wait, reset, and are told you need a service repairman to come out and that means waiting and waiting. Has anyone figured out this mess? The ironic thing is we pay these companies big money for this kind of service!

I have Direct Tv. I need to figure out how to hook up the Direct TV unit, my Toshiba 32" TV (non-HD), DVD/VCR combo, and my stereo reciever. Can anyone help? I have a Panasonic DMR-eh45, and an Onkyo HTS. My wife and I are doing something wrong, because we can barely get the Direct TV to work, but the rest of the components are not sending picture or sound. does anyone have a homemade diagram taht might help? Thanks!

The Charger output is 12v 1200mah, and I want to charge a 9.6 NI-MH 3500mah battery pack. If I'm able to charge the pack could you tell me how long it would take to charge. Could I also charge 8.4 volt NI-CAD/NI-MH battery packs with it?

part of my problem was that dvds are flashing blue screen and sound is going in and out. THis happens on both the playstation and DVD. So we bought the RF modulator figuring it would fix the issue.

I have:
A tv with no hookups (the three coloreed ones)
A vcr with front and back hookups
A dvd player with back hookups
A playstation 2

The problem:
How do we hook all this stuff up together? Were college students in need of help!!

I don't really understand why so many consumers are so excited about blu ray movies. I understand that they hold more and that more movie companies are supporting. I have both, as I wanted to be able to watch whatever I wanted in HD. But I haven't been happy with my blu ray player yet.

It seems everytime I turn around I have to have a new firmware update because there is new software on the blu ray movies I want to watch. I'm talking super new technology like shock files, stuff my Windows 98 computer can handle.

Also I have a child living at my house and anyone that knows children knows that you have to keep your dvds out of their reach. Long story short, they got into my bluray and hd dvds both of which got scratched up pretty bad. I tried to resurface them both, the hd dvds turned out fine however the blu ray discs haven't worked since. I was told that you can't resurface blu ray discs by the guy at Best Buy because it takes the digital layer off?

So why go blu ray?

when i moved from my home into my husbands, i turned int he tv (which he already had) and internet modum, i taped a neon index card with my name on it. i gave it to the rep when they left and they said that if anything happened, the serial # on the back would let them to who's account it belonged. i was concerned because one was under my name and the other wasn't.

now they are telling me and my friend that they don't show a record of either being turned in and asked if we had a receipt. none was ever offered, never told me to make sure i got one.... just thought i was giving the stuff back to the company. if they had told me to do that, i would have.

any ideas on how to proceed?
