I know that s-video would be better however i am using this as a presentation tv for a church and not as a regular home tv. Is it possible to come out of the computer with a coax signal and carry it 80 feet

If your computer has a video output (RCA connector) and you have a video input on your presentation TV (RCA connector or BNC connector) and the cable is video cable (75 ohms) and the connectors on both ends match the hardware or with adapters match the hardware then YES it will work.

If the TV has no video input use a RF modulator to make the computer video output (RCA) into a channel 3 or 4 signal (assuming U.S. TV here).

a long cable attenuates the signal and if not matched properly will produce loads of ghost images.

that said, if u can buy a good quality cable go that route.

here are some, but I can't talk about the quality.

most all computers have analog 15 pin DB connector -
if the tv doesn't have a pc input then some adapting is necessary

or maybe your computer has a DVI digital output also

if the tv has HDMI u can get an adapter from DVI to HDMI.

this would probably work better.

its not working because you have to go to control panel then click display settigns and there should be a screen that shows monitor 1 then monitor 2 and just try to do it between the two and it should work and u can connect the deskotop or laptop speakers to the computer and have teh sound come from the speakers and it should work but if ur tv can work with pc input u can get one from walmart like 20 bucks and teh picture would be twice as good as on s video hope this helps
