My boyfriend is turning 24 in five weeks and I'm struggling to find him a great gift. He's very techie whereas I am more artsy - I made him a very personal scrapbook for our two year anniversary this past month and he bought me a pocket pc. I want to buy him something really great for $250 or less... Help!

Within that price range you can get him a car/portable GPS system. Great for travelling and even finding things in the local area. Garmin makes some good ones that have a rechargable battery so can be taken with you out of the car, and used as a personal directory. Has a SD card that can be updated by downloads from the net. That way when lost, won't have to refuse to ask for directions.

Does he like movies / music etc? He might really like a portable video / music player similar to an iPod Video. I know these are really expensive, but there are other brands that are just as nice - I like Archos.
Try looking up Archos 504 on Buy.com - I like mine a lot!!
