My grandparents wants to know what i want for my bday but i really don't know what i want. It doesn't need to be expensive or nothing. I wanted a new cell phone but i can't find a cingular pay as you go phone that is cheap that has bluetooth. So if you have any ideas let me know. Please no mean comments about me or anything bcuz you don't know me so you don't need to judge me. And if your answer has nothing to do with my question don't bother to answer at all. helo, i just bought a set of motorola t9500 2 way radios, and i was wondering if i need to burn in the speakers, because they sound really crackly when i turn up the volume, i was wondering how i can go about this, and if the crackly sound is temporary due to new speakers, or are they all like this? permanently

I was thinking of getting an HP Printer, scanner, copier and fax machine. Do I need to get a fax number or can i use the normal house phone number? If i can use the current house phone number, how does this interefee with an answering machine?

yesterday i bought a"handset manager" from radioshack so i can use it to download pictures i've taken with my motorola RAZR V3. and so i get home last night & upload the porgram, do everything it tells me to do, yet nothing happened. & now i can't even access an of my media on my phone (no pics, no graphics, ring tones, music etc.)
so i just (hopefully) deleted all its programs on the computer in hopes to reinstall everything, with some help from here, correctly.

if anthing is misspelled, FUCKIT, i'm just concerned about getting this sh!t working!

All the DVDs in the US are region 1, right? All the DVDs I have ever bought or rented, I could play them on my DVD player. However just yesterday when I tried to put on the DVD I had just rented from Blockbuster, I kind of seemed to take it a long time to read it, and then it said, "Bad disk". I tried to play on my computer, and then it told me the DVD's region code was different than that which the DVD player on my computer had been configured for. It said that the DVD was region 1, and the DVD player was for region 2 DVDs. But it had always worked before. I tried to reconfigure it for region 1 but it wouldn't let me. Anyone have a solution?

dish network limits total of 4 rcvrs or tv to have programming service and if you want another tv to have connection you will need to purchase your own rcvr to use for that 5th tv...who would know what to do to be able to get service in a different room that if i connect a sat rcvr to the outlet on the wall it will allow me to watch programmings without contacting satellite company and pay over priced sat rcvrs and pay for installation fee for them to come to the house and probably just switch a on/off button on the satellite box outside the house?

We want to mount a wireless speaker (mono okay) on a shoulder strap to receive voice commands from a GPS program on a laptop. We have found a miniature pair of amplified stereo speakers (1"x1"x2.5") intended to plug into an iPod like device and are temporarily using them with a cable. Would like a speaker only (no mike needed) Bluetooth or Bluetooth with audio jack. Goal is to make enough volume to hear GPS over traffic while walking but not so heavy as to drag off shoulder. Earphones are NOT an option - blind person must hear environmental audio cues.

In this age of Government pressure to be greener, recycle goods etc would it not be a plan for them to start attacking manufactures that make goods designed to last 12 months 2-3 days then break?

If the goods we bought were built to last (as was the situation in the old days) then our landfill sites wouldn't be full of fridges and other redundant electrical equipment just outside their warrantee. Has anyone ever looked into the circuitry of items produced to see if they are in fact adding in self destruct timers?

Yes, if they build thing to last then they are effectively narrowing their market but the electrical product scrapheap certainly needs sorting!

Ok i was thinking of buying a memory stick for my PS3 and everyday uses. I dont need that much memory so 1gb would be more then enough. Firstly, Blu-Ray player works cos me have Casino Royale and Hellboy Blu-Ray and they seem to work innit.

Bought Night in Museum Blu-Ray, plaid it and a warning screen came up in German- Achtung- etc. It was just stuck on that screen and i pressed play, resume etc and nothin happened

I returned it and they gave me another disk and same ting happened. The same German message came up

other dvds work- but how can two night in museum dvds not work

me really confused- the dvd cost me 15 squid.

whats the problem?

its a blu-ray player on laptop- all other blu-ray dvds work fine

the 2 night in museum dvds are region b

My MATSUI dvd player (model: dvd320) won't work anymore. It was on standby and I turned the power off, just to turn it back on. It didn't turn back on. I've tried multiple times . What should I do? I just bought this in Janurary, and I'm not technology savvy, so I just want suggestions.
