i just got a batdorie charger but do not have any rechargable battories and was wondering if it was a big deal to charge no rechargible battories

Sometimes they charge, sometimes they don't. Their performance is usually way inferior to rechargeables. Just break down and get some NiMH batteries and put your mind at ease. Allegedly, alkaline batteries can leak or explode if you try to charge them. I've never seen it happen, but I've never messed with them much either. Good night!

They will explode and leave acid on your charger.
