I was recently givin a bunch of old childrens VHS's but when i play most of them the picture kind of jumps and white snow lines go thru the screen. I've tried cleaning the VCR and nothing has changed. How can i fix it because there are some really good Disney movies that my son loves and i want to actually be able to watch them

I have an electric security cart that patrols a property I own. The small car does not have heat and has no 12 volt lighter hole. Its winter and I need a heater that runs on regular batteries to keep the security guard warm. Does anyone know of a model? No propane heaters please.

I bought straighteners from a seller, these were US made and owners manual said specifically that converter cannot be used, thus making item useless. No reason to think this would be an issue and no warning given by seller.

Wrote e-mail to return, seller very snooty and unhelpful, I pursued and the seller told me to use a converter anyway, that there was no reason for me not to – I asked if they could guarantee my safety and warranty – this was a week ago and I have yet to receive a reply.

If I use a converter and the straighteners break can I still bring it into dispute saying as the seller did not inform me of this issue and told me specifically to use a converter anyway?

I am a teenager and I want to buy a new alarm clock. I've had the same alarm clock forever and I want to buy a new one.

I'm looking for an affordable alarm clock ($30 and under) that has a clear display that stays lit all the time...I don't want a cheap alarm clock though.

Any suggestions???
Thank you for any help or referals.

First 3 all had to be returned, I should have known there was a problem with #2 and #3 as they were not packaged with bubble wrap etc. like #1 & #4 were.
#2 and #3 were ecxhanged 2 hours apart. So far no problems with # 4

We've probably all used them... products and services such as the iPod, Google, Email, Online Bill Paying, Online Stock Trading, GPS, Cell Phones, Wireless Internet... and so on. What products or services not yet created do you believe would help improve your quality of living if you had today? Big or small.

I have a dvd remote for my home theatre system and its taken quite a bit of abuse from the times its dropped, and because of that it has problems functioning. When I put it in the freezer for more than thirty minutes it begins to work as if new.
