Best Last Generation VCR?

I am in the market for a last generation VCR. I have a bunch of family tapes that I would like to MPEG and burn to DVD. Does Anyone know of a decent VCR so the image quality comes across strong?

I'd suggest the JVC HR-S9911 S-VHS VCR. Spectacular picure quality, top-of-the-line features, and excellent video capture results make this VCR worth every penny.
