First 3 all had to be returned, I should have known there was a problem with #2 and #3 as they were not packaged with bubble wrap etc. like #1 & #4 were.
#2 and #3 were ecxhanged 2 hours apart. So far no problems with # 4

YES. Stay away from XSCargo like the plague. It's very hit and miss in there, worse than the junk sections at Princess Auto. Remember, you get what you pay for, and if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. We got a cordless phone from there and luckily the only major thing wrong with it was that it came with the wrong battery ... right size, wrong connector. The audio quality stinks but at least it works ... somewhat. You take your chances shopping there. Your story is not at all uncommon, not just with stereos but anything electronic there.
There were some threads about this topic somewhat recently on our local provincial newsgroup NF.General.
