I have a lot of movies i'd like to record to dvd, is there something that gets around the copy protected thing? And if so, where can I get one. Also, what the heck is a s-cord and would that make a difference if I hooked it to my dvd/vcr recorder and my tv??

I jsut moved into my new apartment and i setup reliant energy on

I have a Midland 13-888B and I want to know if it is possible to add a roger beep to it. I also have a cobra 18RV that will not turn on at al. I dont know why but it will not power up at all. Nothing ahs been done to it to hurt it at all to cause damage. I would really appreciate the help! I've had my dvd player for a year, it worked fine until last week-end, I inserted the disk ok and it started spinning, but the TV was not projecting the image. I checked the connections and they seemed fine. Any suggestions as to what may be going on?

This is under the best sunlight conditions, the solar panel is rated at 1.8W and the battery pack is 300W. The solar panel reads that it is a "trickle charger". My question is how long it would take such solar panel to recharge a completely empty battery pack.

I am looking to move to BACOLOD soon, I have recording studio equipment, a mobile disco and I can also teach Computer studies, how to use windows, repairs, etc. I am an electronics engineer, my biog is on www.geocities.com/jimi_maxwell.
If anyone can help, either with starting out, renting a place,I am getting a 1 year working visa to start with - but I need a bit of help when I get there, I am 50, single, and I am not scared to work hard. I plan to visit this year to look at the possibilities there.
If you have ideas or can help, please email me, the recording studio has all the equipment to make CD albums and videos too, for bands and individual singers who wish to make their albums.
The prices will be good, I am not wanting to earn a fortune, just enough to pay my rent, food, and go out at weekends and enjoy life.
I have been in Cebu before, and I love the Philippines so much I come back to stay !!

I have an account at youtube and Im wondering how would I record off the television and then get it into the computer to upload to youtube. I have a tv, dvd player, video player...

Im guessing you need a dvd recorder that records off tv and then put it in the computers dvd drive. but i dont have a dvd drive, is there anyway around this.

I bought the Philips DTR210 from Currys yesterday but there are problems with the remote, alot of the time, when I press a button the light will flash on the box but nothing will happen. When this happens I can only usually access the Text button and the volume controls. When the remote is "working" The power button doesn't work and niether do any of the 1-9 buttons. Is this a common problem or is a one off?

Please help. One problem though it has now happened to two of my TV's. Number 1 - I connected a PS3 to a Phillips HDCP tv at the weekend, via a hdmi-component connector cable, i couldnt get a signal. I had to revert to using the standard cable. So, my new SONY BRAVIA KDL 46X2000 came yesterday. I connected the PS3 to the new sony TV, quite simply with HDMI to HDMI cable, yet again, no signal. I flicked through the AV button on the sony tv control but cant find the PS3 signal. Can anyone help, its very frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers.

First My neighbor went bankrupt, when the bank took possession of his house the set all his belongings out to the road on garbage day. Included was several Direct TV recievers with out the remotes. I picked these units up. They have all there cards. When I hook them to my direct TV line they will display the menue, and display a direct TV station clearily, but no other stations when I select them. It directs me to call customer service My question is
1.) Is this normal or are these units bad ?
2.) are these units the property of direct tv or were they the property of my x- neighbor?
3.)Can these units be sold legally.
4.)Can these units be used on my direct TV.
