I just purchased a 'sound machine" from the US. Not only i had to pay VAT by HM Revenue & Customs, the product seemed faulty when i plugged it in since all lights are out (the sound works though).
I called technical support and was told that i've "blown" the product just by plugging it (the 1st time!) in the UK plug due to higher voltage.
IS THE PRODUCT REALLY DEAD? HAS THIS HAPPENED TO YOU? CAN I HAVE IT REPAIRED? WHERE?
