I have a two family home that I recently converted the apartment into an office. Since the electrical in the apartment is run from a different breaker box than the house, is it still possible to use a wireless phone jack, the transmitter in my house and the receiver in the apartment downstairs, to connect a fax machine in the basement to the phone line upstairs? Or do both the tranmitter and receiver have to be on the same electrical "unit" so to speak. And if this isnt possible, do they sell anything that will allow me to connect my fax to my home phonewirelessly? Thanks for any help, and for reading this far!

I purchased a pack of 2500 NiMH batteries. After a charge, they won't power my camera, it flashes "Low Battery". However, when I use a 2500 and a 2300 battery, the device works fine. Am I causing any permanent harm to the batteries, or more importantly, my camera? Thanks!

I'm going to be flying across the country and back, and would like to buy some inexpensive noise canceling headphones that work well on jets, buses, etc.

Please don't bother recommending Bose or any others that cost well over $100. It ain't worth it to me.

Are there any GPS products out there that will allow me to put the device in my car and see the route that the car has traveled on a separate device and/or a computer?

It seems that we purchase products daily but do not know how to get the most value from our purchase. We work hard every day and spend our money on different items, with different terms, and different needs.
When we buy an electronic product, we are given a manufacturer’s warranty with the purchase, but what good is it? Does it answer our needs? Does it allow us to preserve the value of our decision?
Unsure about our protection and the life of the item, we sometimes admit the need for an extended warranty.
We tell ourselves, “if something goes wrong, at least we are covered”...but are we?
This whole market is in front of us, but we do not know exactly what we receive versus what we deserve. It seems that we are not aware of the need for relevant information about our own rights regarding warranties and what decisions to make in this matter.
Am I the only one who feels left in the dark?

Ok heres the deal. I have two of the same dvd/vcr combo devices. They are hooked up on two different tv's. Now here is the problem. When I want to watch a dvd or vhs, on one of them the screen turns dark, so dark that in dark sceens of some movies, you can't see what is going on. However, the other one works perfectly. So what is wrong with the one that turns dark when movies are played. Is it the connections or is it the device itself. Thanks.

Just the other day I was on yahoo messenger, and my insane ex-boyfriend messaged me. I responded by saying get over me move on because I have. And yesterday he calls my phone. I never gave him the cell number and nor would I dream of it. But he calls now and I can't seem to figure out how he got it and if I can do anything about it. I asked someone on messenger, if my number shows and they told me no. So what can that be?

It's been around for about a year or so now. I'm just curious to see if anyone outside of radio has heard of it, knows what it can do, and would like to have and HD radio.

I'm plugging my new flash drive into my pc, but it's not comming up with a drive id so that I can save my items on it. This flash drive works fine on my pc at home, but here at work, it's not showing up a drive id. It does come up with an icon at the bottom that allows me to click on to safely remove the device, so the pc is recognizing the drive. Any ideas?

I am just discovering the computer. I know I am a latecomer. But I was just curious about the ablity of the computer to replacing the need for a stereo system. I think it is great how you save all your songs on the computer and if you want to buy some nicer speakers you can upgrade to as large of ones as you like?

Has the computer already replaced the stereo maybe ?
