In normal TV its not possible. If the TV has two tuners then may be possible. TV with PIP (Picture in picture) mostly offer this facility.

Yes indeed you can because this is old time playing of the 70's via VCR you can watch real time programme whlie record another channel provided your vcr is a vcr recorder and not player only !

Yes; most VCRs can do this. You would need to check with your owner's manual to find out how to do this. If you have cable and have a tuner box (digital or analog), you may not be able to do so, however, as it is the cable tuner rather than the VCR that selects the channels. If your VCR is what you use to select channels, then you're in good shape.

yes, as long as you don't watch tv through your vcr...meaning does your vcr have to be on in order for you to watch the channels you want? If so, then you will not be able to, if you can turn your vcr off and still watch tv, then you should have no problem.

No. The VCR can purely checklist this device it truly is at the instant being watched because of the fact it has to apply the two the channel 3 or 4 output (RF output), the composite (Yellow), ingredient (crimson, eco-friendly, Blue) or HDMI output (multi-pin) and linked audio outputs (White and crimson). and those are all linked to the at the instant enjoying software (playback from DVR or stay via DVR). the only thank you to get around it is to have a Replay television or TiVo field that transfers directly to laptop the place you need to burn a DVD (yet i don't have this form of gadget so can not supply information & can not assure it actually works that way on an identical time as observing television).

I do it all the time. Read your VCR manual. It will explain how to set it up by presetting times, etc., so you can watch one program while recording another.
