Where can I buy a device that will record the songs that my dad plays on the piano?

My dad composes beautiful songs on the piano, and our whole family loves to listen to him play them. For his birthday, I want to give him a device that can record his songs in pretty good quality. Where can I buy that kind of device, and what is it called?
