DON'T GO ANYWHERE TO SEND A FAX. STAY AT YOUR COMPUTER. . .
How? There are plenty of internet virtual email-to-fax services available. In fact, most of them have free trials available. Some are so low in cost (meaning only $2.50/month) that you might want to keep the service.
Basically you set-up an account and then you can either upload the document at their website or just send an email WITH any attachments to a personal assigned email address (usually, the recipient's fax number goes in the subject line) and voila! Your email is then converted and sent as a fax to the recipient.
The benefit is that you also get an INBOUND fax-to-email service where anyone can fax you at that number and you'll receive it as a scanned attachment in PDF, .TIFF or other document format for you to view, print and/or keep on your computer.
Good luck!

Any office supply store will be able to do this for you, such as Office Max, Kinkos, and Staples. Often, local businesses will have a fax machine and won't charge you to fax one or two things. Try calling the local grocery store, pharmacy, or bank; they all must have fax machines to conduct business in modern times - if you ask politely, many would be glad to do you a favor at no cost and no hassle! Good luck!

Yes, most office supply stores like Kinko's, Office Max offer the service for a fee. Even on the highways, many gas stations, trucking centers etc. offer faxing services for a modest fee.

If you don't have a Kinko's, try seeing if the service is available at your local library or bank. I want to think Publix used to have a fax service, too.

Kinko's, Mail Boxes etc. Office Depot.
They all charge about the same price. 2 dollars per page for domestic. 5 dollars per page for international faxes. I have used all of them.
