I know what it is and what it does, I'm in the industry.
It's been around for about a year or so now. I'm just curious to see if anyone outside of radio has heard of it, knows what it can do, and would like to have and HD radio.

hd radio is a slightly clearer version of regular radio. It also adds alot of stations between the current chaneels, i personally have little interest in it, unless these new hd channels have less or no advertising and more music

There is a station here in Boston advertising themselves as now being "HD Radio". As far as I can tell, it means that they have a digital signal now. Who can receive that signal, and whether they are sending any higher-def audio content over it, I have no idea.
