I dont really care about price, or number of channels, just about layout, visual effects, ease of use and astetics.

I have had Directv ever since they bought out Primestar, somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 years ago.

All the equipment I have had has been extremely easy to use, the Tivo included. I have only had a few bad experiences with customer service, which is nice.

I have read some major horror stories about Dish Network's customer service, even how they have charged people tons of cash when their service was hijacked.

I have watched Dish programming, I like the menu layouts better from Direct, but it could be just because I am used to them.

I truthfully have Dish community and we lose the sign for variety of 15 min over an entire 365 days! From a dependability attitude, they could the two be regarding the comparable; they use somewhat the comparable technologies. in case you have been having outages that familiar and severe, i could be greater apt in charge the setting up somewhat than the provider. possibly the dish replaced into no longer aimed wisely or replaced into no longer located so as that it had a sparkling view of the satellites.

DirecTV is the better company to deal with. I have had them for about 6 years now, and found that they have better service than Dish. (My dad has Dish).

However if you want more international programming I believe it goes the other way.
