As a disclaimer, I would just like to make clear that this isn't for making copies of copyrighted material. This is a question concerning making copies of DVD's that were originally burned using a DVD-Recorder/Player (It's a VCR/DVD combo, but it also burns DVD's. So, it's not done using a computer). I'm trying to now use a computer's DVD burner to make copies of the disc but I'm having trouble. I've been using DVD decryptor to burn the DVD files onto my computer but the program must not be burning all the files correctly because usually when DVD decryptor is used, you should be able to play the DVD from the computer. However, even after burning all the files, the computer's DVD player cannot play the video from the harddrive. Any disc burned from these files doesn't work either. Is there something that needs to happen or another program I could use in to make copies of a burned DVD?

I'm trying to help a friend of mine replace a fuse in a kitchen light fixture in her home. The burned out fuse is a T800mA. I can't find any stores around here that stock 800 milliAmp fuses. Someone at one of the stores told me that for a light fixture I could just use a 1000 milliAmp (1 Amp) fuse instead. This makes some sense to me, because we're talking about power to light bulbs, not sensitive electronics. By the way, I'm in Germany, so we're talking about 240volt current in her home, and not 120volt like in the US.

So, does anyone have a clue???

I am setting up a battery buffered system where no wires will be longer than a couple feet. I can set this up either 12 or 24 volt.
This is a continuiously running system, however the charger will only be in use part of the time.

120v in (batt charger) > 12v or 24v batt bank > inverter > 120v out

Are inverters more efficient at higher input voltages?
This is in Alaska, is higher voltage less susseptible to cold?
Is there benifit to more storage or more volts?

This cable doesn't carry sound and I've been told I should do it another way.I connected them with the ordinary red-white audio cables but still nothing if the screen is switched on DVI source. I've tried even connecting them with a SCART adapter so I plugged that to the screen.Still nothing. Nobody seems to know and Samsung's (The screen) technical support is useless.
Please help!!!

How can i protect my laptop which i bought in USA, being NOT BLOW OFF when used with the Indian Power supply? Does the use of Step-Up transformer/Step-Down transformer ensure the protection 100%? Are there any other efficient and safe options available to make electrical appliances work in INDIA (bought in US)? When should we use Step-Down or Step-Up transformer?
Which company/brand (for transformers or any other option suggested by you) is good to buy for use in INDIA?

I just bought my Nintendo Wii, *yay!* and I don't have any money to spend. I wanted to know which AA batteries are most efficient and where I can get them.
Please, do not say something like 'None, because wii sucks' or some stupid thing like that. I am looking for real advice here, so people like *Joey Ilika* can just move on to some other, more immature question.

^Sorry, personal rant there. Anyways, just post below and let me know which batteries are the longest lasting, where I can get them, and how much they cost! Thank you!
