As a disclaimer, I would just like to make clear that this isn't for making copies of copyrighted material. This is a question concerning making copies of DVD's that were originally burned using a DVD-Recorder/Player (It's a VCR/DVD combo, but it also burns DVD's. So, it's not done using a computer). I'm trying to now use a computer's DVD burner to make copies of the disc but I'm having trouble. I've been using DVD decryptor to burn the DVD files onto my computer but the program must not be burning all the files correctly because usually when DVD decryptor is used, you should be able to play the DVD from the computer. However, even after burning all the files, the computer's DVD player cannot play the video from the harddrive. Any disc burned from these files doesn't work either. Is there something that needs to happen or another program I could use in to make copies of a burned DVD?

so that you're observing a dvd like what you would possibly want to purchase from woolworths ? (R.I.P) ????? if so and also you want to placed the movie onto your computer then you surely do not want to burn, you want to tear it onto your computer, this determination is next to the burn decision and the proper of abode windows media participant. yet in case you mean you've the movie on your comp yet want to placed it on dvd then use abode windows dvd maker. open it up then click upload, search for for the movie and double click on it then click burn and go away it to do its component for 30 minutes or so then at the same time as the dvd ejects that is executed.

I use dvd shrink after decryting dvds,....this sometimes allows the files to be played & burned, but not always. I write it off as being part of the newer dvds being made, and being made harder to do anything but watch the original, sorry.
