A $25-$30 webcam is not going to give you a good sharp clear picture; it's too cheap. The picture will be acceptable as that's pretty much what everyone else has and is what comes with computer bundle packages these days. Yahoo et al compress the images anyway so the quality that comes through is inherently limited by that as well.
