to be honest i dont think it matters!!!

I got a real cheapy one from asda and it works just as well as people I know who have got expensive top of the range ones. It does get affected by weather but so do expensive ones.

its not even like cheap vs expensive DVD players or something coz i dont see how it will affect the ability to transmit digital signal.

I'd say just get a cheapy!!

Depends what you are after. A basic box can be bought for £15-£20 in any major supermarket. If you want something with more on it, look for one that gives you a 24-hour TV guide (the cheap box's usually only tell you what’s on now and next).
You might want to look for one with a card slot, so that you can access some paid for TV with the ‘top up TV’ card. These are a little more expensive (around £50) but might make your box future proof.
Also for a little more expense you might want to buy a box from a more reputable electronics manufacturer like Panasonic, or Phillips. This could take the price up to close to £100.

they all do pretty much the same job reception wise, so its really down to what you like the look of. not all have 7 or 10 day epg. also consider if you want top-up-tv.

we have bought two from Tesco and they are brilliant. £25.00 if bought online and £30 from any store. They are really slimline and so easy to use even for me

None, the service is crap. I would only suggest buying one as a last resort.
