ps3 is obviously way better than xbox 360

here are my reasons
- ps3 has a built-in blu-ray player
-ps3 supports 1.3 HDMI which has rich colors and xbox supports 1.2 HDMI
- ps3 has much more and better exclusives, most of them cant go to xbox 360 because it cant handle that many data(DVD- 8.5gb, blu-ray 50gb)
- because of the blu-ray's huge space, ps3 will have WAY better graphics than 360
- online is free for ps3 not like 360
- ps3 will have over 300 games released by this spring
- you can browse the internet on ps3, no such thing for xbox 360
- when developers get used to the system, the graphics will be WAY better than 360. should take them a year to get used to it
- developers stated that they will start using ps3 as the lead platform and port ps3 games to xbox
- playstation home is coming out this spring, its a virtual community where you can hang out with friends and customize your own apartment which xbox doesnt have

Carcassonne full arcade game is free on xbox live, just go to the marketplace blade on dashboard, select games and carcassonne and download full game for free. Only for thursday and friday. I've never tried it, should I download it?

Everyone spouts of about how much cheaper the Xbox 360 is but everyones to short sighted!!

I bought my PS3 in England in August and it cost me £425 with 3 games and 2 controllers and 60GB hard drive (only one you can get in England)

But recently I decided to get a Xbox 360 (no other reason then there where no games I wanted on the PS3 till January!)

I went to the shop and it was £250 for Xbox 360 preium with Halo 3 and Pro evo 6.. Bargin I thought, then when I was about to buy it i asked what else do I need and the guy said:

Wireless: £50, ouch!
Another controller: £30,
Battery Packs: £20 for two. (apperently not built in like PS3!!)
Xbox live which is £30..

So that went from being £250 for a next gen console (BARGIN!) To being £380, buy one more game to get same deal as PS3.. and...

Playstation 3 deal (60GB) £425
equivalent Xbox 360 (20GB) £415

Microsoft have just been very clever in selling everything seperatly to keep the cost down. AND PS3 is BlueRay!!

Is there any difference, aside from that the HDMI is one cable and the HD AV is 5 (really 6). Is there any difference in quality or anything else like that for the Xbox 360?

ok i have a rechargable battery pack for the 360 controller

when i tried to charge it, the light on the charger turned red for like half a second then went off. What is wrong? Any advice?

My younger brother is complaining that, because we keep our XBOX 360 in a normally unheated room in the garage, it is damaged at night when the temperatures drop to around freezing. I am very suspicous of this...I've never heard of cold temperatures damaging electronics.

We are on our 7th Xbox360 in our house. So far, Microsoft has had our xbox in their hands longer than we have, and we've been trying to figure out what we may have possibly been doing to kill it life expectancy.
We have hardwood floors, we use the console vertically, we prop it up on 2 books to maximize air flow, the room is about 70 degrees F, and we have never played a game for more than 4 hours in one sitting, and so far, the longest we have had the 360 working while its in our possession is about 3 weeks.

We just unpackaged another one from being returned to us today and it is already giving us the "3 red lights" again. This is getting rediculous...

I recently had to send my x-box in to mircrosoft because I had those red lights. They ended up sending me a replacement one. Now I am having trouble syncing my controller with my xbox. I used the instructions they provided but still I have no luck.

I should be receiving my Xbox back from the repair center the middle of next week. I've been told by a service rep. that I'll be receiving my old system back even though it had the RRoD and a laser/disk drive problem. Just wanted to know if Microsoft puts a page in the box that tells you what new modifications they made to the system (new heatsink, HDMI port, etc.) Anybody with repair experience, please let me know. Thanks!

ok so i got a 360. but the only problem is idk how to connect it properly. i know that the av cables go into the slots by color yes yes but it wont show up on the tv!

however, we have the cox cable thing that gives us extra channels. it looks like a vcr or something, but its not. its something made by motorola and they gave us a remote control with it too.

i remember getting my friends xbox to work at my house, but that was before we got that extra cable thing. we plugged it into our vcr that connects to the tv. but what im wondering is, can i get around the new cable box thing and just use the vcr? argh im so confused. any input is appreciated. thanks in advance!

My boyfriend recently bought a 32' plasma tv so we bought a new stand for it. The problem is, with the doors closed, the xBox overheats. Obviously keeping the door open is the "duh" answer. However, the xBox tends to get very warm anyways. I was wondering if anyone had any other solutions in mind? I don't want liquid coolant or Nyko, I was thinking about this...

Im going to be getting either a 360 or ps3 for this Christmas season. I had origionally thougth of getting the 40gb ps3 since it is only 50 more than the premium, but then i started to question this because of the lack of games that are splitscreen (we like to game together in the same room for late night parties). I have a few questions for 360 owners?
1) anybody thought of getting ps3 but got 360 instead, and are you glad you did?
2) the RRoD scares me a bit, but im hoping that the premiums will have the falcon chip this season, so has anybody never had a problem with the RRoD? and about how long to get it back from repairs if you have?
3) knowing about the RRoD, do you play differently, i mean do you like find your self playing for short periods of time or do you not care and play for extended periods of time?
4) is buying an HDMI cable worth it over the supplied component cable?
5) lastly what all is included in the premium package, is the play and charge included?

I have the new arcade xbox 360 with a 65nm chip and a new motherboard heatsink. That means I have a very small chance of getting the RROD! I don't even have any good games and I love playing my Fuzion Frenzy 2 and Open Season and the arcade games. so, who else thinks their xbox 360 is awesome, unlike the people on here posting all the problems that the xbox 360 has.

Question 1-

Does it matter if you use a Microsoft brand wireless adapter on an xbox 360?

I've heard multiple answers(i will list below)from different people and i wanted to know alot more peoples advice.

A guy who works at gamestop said- you need to use the Microsoft brand, I've tried alot of other brands and they didn't work.

A guy at radioshack said- it doesn't matter

Question 2-
Are their censers that since the temperature in the 360, and if so if they get changed(like by using a fan) will it void the warranty?
