I should be receiving my Xbox back from the repair center the middle of next week. I've been told by a service rep. that I'll be receiving my old system back even though it had the RRoD and a laser/disk drive problem. Just wanted to know if Microsoft puts a page in the box that tells you what new modifications they made to the system (new heatsink, HDMI port, etc.) Anybody with repair experience, please let me know. Thanks!

YES THEY DO.

I had to sent mine twice already and both times this is what i got back from them :

- a wrapped white box with my console in it
- a A4 paper with an explanation about the whole repair thing and that they do their best to fix thing and al that and at the middle of the page, there is a table like this:

Console -----
DVD Drive -----
Controller -----
Headphone -----
...
....

and here they made a cross in front of what ever they had to fix. Mine was about the dvd drive so right in front of DVD DRIVE there was a 'X' .

By the way, when i got my console back last week or so, i just filmed it me openning the box and showing exactly what was inside the box and i am posting it on youtube today . So you may wanna watch it to see what exactly you will get from them.

They don't tell you, but xbox support will know so if you want to find out you can call them and they will look it up for you. they probably will be reluctant at first but they can and will do this if you are persistent.
