I recently had to send my x-box in to mircrosoft because I had those red lights. They ended up sending me a replacement one. Now I am having trouble syncing my controller with my xbox. I used the instructions they provided but still I have no luck.

hi,
i hope i can help but im not really a wize at this stuff, so ill just tell you what i know=]
well, did you try putting the controller at a good distance to get signal from the console. try syncing it with the controler right up on the console. and just in case, to re-sync there is a small white button on the front of the console right next to memory unit B (2nd memory card slot) put the controler right in front of the console press your center button on the controler then press that button on the console. this should work and if not its always worth a try to change the batteries=/
good luck and i hope this helps at least a little

try changing the batteries you have in the controller then try it again. or try manually turning on your xbox and then hold the button xbox button on the controller and then leave it for a while
