Do you really need a 20 gb hard drive for the xbox 360 if you are only going to play guitar hero 3 and halo 3 with xbox live. Is it a must have to play or do you dont really need it.

Ok, I'm in a bit of a predicament and I need your guy's help! Here is the situation:
I want to get an Xbox 360 for Christmas, and my parents are willing to spend that much money on me, and no more. The Xbox I want is the pro edition which comes with two games. Now, I also want Guitar Hero 3, but I can't get that AND an Xbox 360 pro, I'd go out of my budget! What I can do is ask for the Xbox 360 Core edition and also ask for Guitar Hero 3. That way I get the Xbox 360, and the game I want. Now, I see that the core system does not come with much except the actual Xbox and a controller. The Pro on the other hand, comes with a ton of stuff that I know that I will eventually get in the near future. So I don't know what to do. I can either get the more expensive system and get all the things I need, and some games I don't really want, or I can get the system that comes will little, and get the game that I do want. Please help me guys!!!

I cant find any store that is selling xbox 360 core consoles anymore. I find the arcade is still in stock though.

So my question is:

Does the xbox 360 arcade console let you play xbox 360 games and does it allow you to play xbox live GOLD online as well? essentially is it the same as a core console or different?

My cousin might trade his X-Box 360 Core that includes Halo 3, Some soccer game 2008, 2 controllers (wired), and a memory card. 28MB(I think). Should I make the trade? Also is there is a way to upgrade the X-Box 360 Core to work like a X-Box 360 Premium.

i am getting a 360 for x-mas, this i no. They did not buy the one with the hard drive, but not the core nether. It comes with 252 mb or something like that, silver live and more. I wont to no is that enough space to keep me going for a while until i buy the hard drive. Will it hold live and about 4 games (halo madden 08, gears and call of duty 4).

Also what accessories do i need? How much is a adapter for xbox to use live.

One last ?. what games should i get besides the ones from above.
Any more info you wont to add go ahead, cause i dont no much about it.

I've already landed on the decision, mainly because all of my friends are on Live and I'm on crap *** PS3 network with nobody to play with. I have blazing angels, fear, and resistance... I could also throw in 15+ Ps2 games.. how much could this all sell for? And how much would I need for a good xbox with a mic and one year of Live and stuff? And a copy of COD4? (:

I've noticed that when playing an Xbox 360 game graphics will blur for a few seconds after loading.
For example after a cut-scene on Gears of War or Mass Effect the graphics blur for about 10 seconds, then turn normal after.
Whats up with that??? And is there any way to prevent it???

ok so when im playing my 360 the controller will disconnect automatically alot. usually every few seconds. a message just appears and says Controller Disconected and asks me to reconnect it. i know its not the battery because i just switched it. is it not getting good connection or something?

the mtu setting should be set to a minimum of 1635
to change this setting simply go to your router settings and click modify and type in 1635. yeah were is the router? please tell me step by step direction. best one gets full points.
