ok for christmas my parents are thinking about getting either the 360 or the wii. we have to choose which one but we arent really sure. ok i'm 15(i'm a girl) and my bros 17. so which one should i get?

As you are older than 11 you are going to get bored with the Wii very quickly..
We have both the Xbox 360 and the Wii.. the Wii was fun for a while.. and actually got my gf playing.. but she got bored of it and now all she plays is Xbox 360.. she really likes all the Xbox Live Arcade games (like Hexic 2 and Zuma and other puzzle games).. she really likes the achievement points and gamerscores where you can compete on a leaderboard of just your friend's scores..
So pick the Xbox.. (you won't be able to buy a Wii anyway.. they are all sold out)

Geeze hard choice. There are not many girl games for 360 and the online is loaded with foul mouthed guys trying to prove themselves. If you get the 360 have your account be a male account so you don't get harrassed. The wii has fun social networking Wii mail, Check MII out, and the Wii cafe, and alot of games that can be played online and off but it doesn't have the rough online garbage that you shouldn't have to deal with. Your brother will probably win out and get the 360 cause the Wii is impossible to find. Sorry.

If you are a fan of action and first person shooter games, or if you don't like having to stand up to play a game, then the XBox 360 is your best bet. The Wii on the other hand is something totally revolutionary. All kinds of sports and adventure games are really fun to play. The accelerometer, gyroscope, and combined IR and RF technology that the Wii Remotes use could ultimately be the way of the future. Why not get in early?

I think you should get the 360 because
the wii breaks 2 easy and the controllers get kinda hard to use (i think) the 360 is way
easier to use and a lot of the wii
games are very childish

Get a wii
an xbox360 is more like a boy system
a wii is more fun. and is great for the whole family.

I would choose the xbox360. First of all, I've heard that the Wii was a major disspointment. Also, more games are compatible with xbox360. Since the Wii is newer technology, there are less types of games that you could purchase.

I'd reccomend a 360 because wii is still evolving and therefore still doesn't have many great games for it. Of course if your a casual gamer and wii sports is you thing as opposed to Halo 3 then get the wii

Wii if you have a social streak in you, it is great for playing games with a group of people. Get the XBox if you want to play hardcore games on your own or on the internet. The Wii uses less enegy and is far quieter than the XBox. This is a consideration in some settings.

i had a wii and i hated the damn thing. everything is so childish no good games. and besides u play games to relax. if u play theyre boxing game u can knock sum 1 out. trust me i gave my dog an uppercut. poor jed. ne how i have a 360 now and im always hittin it up online. gears of war halo bioshock kane and lynch next year GTA 4. that should make it an ez choice.

The Wii is not only fun but toally interactive. so you get exercize and people of literally all ages can play...But if you prefer hash and slash over Mario, the XBOX 360 is the way to go.
