I cant find any store that is selling xbox 360 core consoles anymore. I find the arcade is still in stock though.

So my question is:

Does the xbox 360 arcade console let you play xbox 360 games and does it allow you to play xbox live GOLD online as well? essentially is it the same as a core console or different?

Same as a core.
Plays all xbox 360 games.
Allows you to still have xbox live.
FULL FUNCTIONALITY OF A NORMAL 360!!
The only difference is they give you like 2 arcade games.
There marketing is trying to use xbox as a family console with uno and stuff.

PS3 does not have many games; most of them are not that good. Please note that more then half the people who bought a PS3 returned it because they got very bored. Xbox 360 has Halo 3, Shadowrun, Assassin's Creed, N3, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Gears of War, Enchanted Arms, Battlefield, Bioshock, Crackdown, Viva Piñata, and much more. Xbox 360 live may cost $50, but that's for 13 months. Overall that's less then $5 per month.

Xbox 360 you can go to the Xbox live marketplace and download movies, music, game updates, game expansions, gamerpics, pictures, arcade games trials, game demos, beta games, and much more! You can download all of that from your computer, or even to your computer! Xbox live can be free, but it has much less you can do if you don't buy the gold version.

All you have to do is slide a DVD in, and use your controller for a remote to watch them! It has improved graphics for most of the things you put in. You can slide in a CD and upload music or movies! It enhances graphics and sounds. And for music you can choose from hundreds of your own personal mesmerizing strobes! You can choose strobe ones, disco ones, glowing ones, tunneling ones, and dozens more!

Xbox 360 Pro Edition comes with Xbox Live gold edition, Xbox Live headset, 15 Gigabyte hardrive, and so many things that it should cost $200 extra! But it costs much less then that.

Xbox 360 is compatible with most original Xbox games.

Xbox 360 gets a 20/10 from the public!

It is the exact same as the core edition. The only bonus is that you get 5 free full arcade games

you want to have the frustrating force. you may play unique xbox video games without the memory card on the 360 yet your progression will be erased. basically play established xbox video games with the frustrating force and memory card for fantastic effect. experts for frustrating force is better memory area. Its user-friendly to take off and placed lower back on. Cons for memory card, smaller memory area
