i am about to buy this camera for 249 $ but i wonder if it is good or not?? give me some advises

I am looking to bid on a lens on ebay but I know that the lens is critical to how good your picture is. Is pro-spec a good brand? if its not I will forget about it. Thanks.

I'm planning to buy a Nikon camera. Nikon S51, to be specific. I'm aware of the pros and cons of this camera. but i would like to know how nikon cameras are in general. whether they manufacture good quality products compared to other companies. and whether they break easily. Please give unbiased, reliable information.

Recently i'v been offered to buy a sigma flash for my pentax k100d super.. its a trustable site but a lot of other people wants it too. So i'm not really sure if it is still available. Before this, i wanted a pentax 75-300. But if i get this flash, i wouldn't be able to afford it. But if i don't, i maybe will try to save up for a sigma ef e330. The sigma flash that was on sale i wanted was a sigma ef e500 ST ( not DG(not available in site). So i was maybe considering a pentax 28-105 f/3.2-4.5. But i really have been quite confused. My coming up events are birthday parties, weddings and mostly indoor soft dim flurecent lighting. So i was also considering a FA 50mm f/1.4. But i have to wait and save. And my current kit lens has real trouble in dim lighting, not that im saying its bad, but its not fit for the job. But if i manage to get the sigma e530 mentioned earlier, then probraly i may go something like the 100-300 as it is much cheaper...So my current choices are:

i have a canon powershot A85 camera and theres like a wheel where you select the photo style or whatever and i dont know what M, AV, TV and P do
i can't read the instruction thing cause its in another language lol
does anyone know what they do?

If there is a site out there you can filter down on the very last details on cameras would be great, but haven't found one yet....

If anyone has seen one I would love to know
I got the fujifilm s700 and its just a fancy point and shoot. Doesn't sure the purpose I need. I mean what camera doesn't have image stablilty? I don't have wooded arms come on now!

With many digital cameras, there is a split second delay between pushing the button and getting the picture....it is not fast in real time like a film camera. Are there digital SLRs that squeeze off in real time?

So, I have a canon powershot S3 IS, and since it's christmas time, I wanna take pictures of Christmas lights and such.
But they all come out bad.
Either the lights get really blurry, or the lights come out good, but you can't see the house.

So what kind of settings do I put it on, so they come out better?

I am looking to buy an attatchment flash for my Nikon D40. At Best Buy they sell a 250.00 Nikon flash and a 99.00 Sunpak flash. I was wondering how much better the 250.00 flash is than the cheaper one? Is the cheap one ok to use? The salesman told me the cheaper one would probably be slower... But how slow? Should i spend the extra buck to get the better one?

I am looking for a digital camera with the following features,

No less than a 3x zoom, autoflash as well as the option to turn it off, self timer, video with sound, autofocus, and a somewhat large screen.

I didn't think it would be this hard to find a camera with all of these features, but it is!

Please tell me the names of some cameras with these features! And if possible, where to get them.

I can't decide! They all seem good to me. Which one is best? I will be taking nature photography, and especially pictures of myself (modeling). I love detailed photos. Which would do the best and take the most 'professional looking' picture?

BTW I'm getting my camera tomorrow, I need answers quick :D!
