I got a new Digital camera for christmas (its a Samsung S1050).

It does this annoying thing. When i go close up or zoom in, on objects or people, my camera blurs the picture. I have changed the settings so its on maximum sharpness but it doesnt help. I want to take detailed close up pics of things but it allways blurs. The camera is fine when taking normal/long shots.

does anyone know how to change the settings or how to reduce the blurring?

thanks

I'll be buying a camera from them and it qualifies for their "Super Saver Shipping" deal.

Does anyone know when this offer ends?

I'm starting to love photography. I have a Fuji S7000 and a Canon ixus70. Been taking photos for relatives and friends in weddings, birthday parties and families outdoor activities such as BBQ parties for the last 2 years. Thought of getting myself a digital slr camera to explore more on best photography.

Hey everybody, I'm going to buy my first digital camera soon and I have a question regarding video recording. Roughly how many minutes of video is equal to 1 gig? I really have no idea what the compression rate is like and need to figure out how large of a memory card I should buy.

Thanks everyone!

I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S75 and I want an attachable Macro lens for it so I can get some good close up pictures. The camera has a built-in Macro setting, but I want an actual lens just for Macro shots so that they can be higher quality/better resolution. I can't find any Macro lenses compatible with this model though. Are there any that even work with my camera, and if so, where do I find it/them?

1.5 year old Nikon Coolpix p4 camera dropped about 3 feet to floor with telephoto lens extended, so the lens 'barrel' got 'bent.'
At first would not retract, but after working with it, finally retracted most of the way in. However, when attempting to Open the lens to use camera, the lens won't extend; instead makes a grinding sound, followed by Error message on screen. Any suggestions on how to fix this sick puppy welcome--trying to avoid expensive trip to Camera Shop!

It doesn't work. My camera is supposedly supposed to take MicroSD memory cards and I bought a SanDisk 1GB Memory card.

It fits in my camera and then prompts for me to format my card and then it says, Card Cannot Be Formatted. Replace Card Please.

UGH!!!

Does anyone know if this is normal?

Is this my camera or is this the wrong kind of memory card?

Also, does anyone know which freaking memory card to get?

As you can probably sense, I know nothing about this. =)

Thanks for all the help!

I have a Sanyo digital camera. ( VPC-E760 ) and my mother bought it for me and she got it with a 512MB sd card. I looked everywhere in the manual to see how much it holds without the sd card and with the sd card.
the camera is a 7.1 mega pixels and the sd card is 512MB.
If you know how much photos it can hold please leave me a answer thank you.

I have a Kodak Easyshare C653. I just got my dock today (it's Christmas!) and everything fit except for the USB cable. It's nowhere around. I looked through the questions similar to this and I found that someone said to order the USB cable on this site: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-locale=en_US&pq-path=6558

But the list of cameras they are compatible with does not include the C653. Maybe its because the C653 is newer and they didnt add it to the list?

I just attempted to format my memory card (a 2GB PNY for my camera) on my Canon A560; for some reason, after I formatted it, the camera said I now only had sufficient space for 632 pictures, whereas before I had enough space for 1006. Help?

Does anyone know where to get Olympus Stylus 750 digital camera repaired? When I switch the camera on, the lens comes out 100% but no display appears in the LCD, the LED light flickers and the lens goes back 3/4ths of the way and the camera cannot be switched off. Unless I turn the dial to preview mode and then I can turn off the camera, on preview mode the LCD works. How can I get this repaired. This camera is out of warranty and I do not have extended warranty on it.

I just bought a d80, and the flash only stays down in extreme sunlight. It pops up when there is bright light and would seem to me there would be plent of ambient light to take the picture at a reasonable shitter speed. Any way to test this??? I am an amateur and this is my first dslr. Thanks!
