1.5 year old Nikon Coolpix p4 camera dropped about 3 feet to floor with telephoto lens extended, so the lens 'barrel' got 'bent.'
At first would not retract, but after working with it, finally retracted most of the way in. However, when attempting to Open the lens to use camera, the lens won't extend; instead makes a grinding sound, followed by Error message on screen. Any suggestions on how to fix this sick puppy welcome--trying to avoid expensive trip to Camera Shop!
