I have a Sanyo digital camera. ( VPC-E760 ) and my mother bought it for me and she got it with a 512MB sd card. I looked everywhere in the manual to see how much it holds without the sd card and with the sd card.
the camera is a 7.1 mega pixels and the sd card is 512MB.
If you know how much photos it can hold please leave me a answer thank you.

Here is a table that shows the relationship. between Pixels, card size, and number of photos.

Set your camera for it's highest resolution and forget it. With the card in the camera, you will see the number of photo's you can take.. And if you are thinking about buying a 4GB card and want to know how many pictures you are likely to get, just divide the card you have into 4GB. EXample if you have a 1GB card given you 120 pictures, then a 4GB will give you 480. You know all this is NOT that important. Get out their and enjoy your camera. The way you shoot will soon tell you that a larger card is necessary, But with prices falling the way they have, I just bought some SD cards (I didn't need them now) that were so cheap for two cards packaged together, that I couldn't resist. Remember cards don't last for ever. Having a spare like extra film is a good idea. But so far as I understand memory cards, do not go bad just sitting like film does.

no one can tell you that...some pictures are BIGGER than others...and some have more 'noise'...( noise will affect the pictures in a digital...) so it holds as many as it holds and you can always get more 'cards' for the camera. (they're fairly cheap these days.)
