Which camera should I get? The top link has 3x optical zoom and is $100 cheaper than the bottom one with 5x zoom.

There used to be a general rule of thumb that 3:1 zoom was the best you can do without degrading the image. Being as they're both 8.1mp and 3:1 is a lot more than It would seem, I'd go w/ the first. Good luck.

I would go for the cheaper one.. zoom is not that important of a feature in my opinion. Plus the more expensive one has a larger screen, they can get scratched and break more easily.

if moneys not a issue den get da 5x zoom cause it can be more useful den 3x zoom...both are good cameras

i like the first one my neighbor has it and it works great!!!!!! its zoom is just fine......
