My film SLR is Canon EOS A2 and flash Sunpak 433. Just wondering if that flash unit can be used on the digital SLR from the same Company - Canon Rebel XTi. Please advise, Thanks.

I have a Canon power shot A520.The batteries seem to drain rather quickly. They are new rechargeables. What function drains digital camera batteries the fastest?.What ever it is,I'll stop doing it if it means that the battery power will last longer. Thanks for your help.

I'm looking for a compact digital camera that'll take clear night shots (particularly scenery, like skylines, etc) without a tri-pod. Doesn't need to be too high-tech, just so the pics won't be blurry and will look nice in a regular 4x6 print.

I've heard the Fuji F30 is good for low light shots, but any reviews I've seen focus on indoor. Can anyone comment on the quality for OUTDOOR night shots that don't necessarily have a subject in front of the shot?

Also, if you can recommend any other brands/models for this purpose, please let me know! (I'm a big fan of Sony. . .) $300-400 price range, give or take.

Thanks!

This is a small pink digital camera, sold by Avon and others not under the philips brandname. I have lost the instruction manual! I have downloaded them OK on to the computer but cannot delete the built in memory. I have looked on both uk/usa websites for the model number but it's not recognised at all!!!!!!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are lot of brands out there that do SD cards, and I need someone to tell me the best SD card to buy for the money its worth.

I am looking for a 2GB SD card for a Nikon S9 Digi camera - There seems to be lots of choices on Amazon, but cannot make my mind up on which to buy.

Any cameras that any one knows of that would be worth the money? My mom wants me to get a digital camera because it costs money to develop film but I want a actual camera, not one that helps you take your own pictures, so I want to know if there are places were you can develop your own film cheaply.

This may seem shallow, but I'm having trouble finding a visually pleasant digital camera. The ones I like so far:
• Leica Digilux 1 and 2
• Sony DSC-M1 and M2 (interesting form factor)
• Panasonic Lumix LX-2
• Casio Exilim EX Z850

But what I really want is the "iPod" of digital cameras - extremely clarified physical and interface design. Any ideas?

except that is not the model of my camera. If you scroll down the page you will see a pic of a dog. That is the type of problem i am experiencing.

If i bought a nikon d80 .. now...

Would it still be classed as a good camera in 2-4 years time??

i am desperate for it, but i'm starting a 2year-photography course in 2 years time.. not sure whether to wait and get one then...

or buy it now.... but i don't want to have to buy a new/better one halfway through the course.....?

Will it last??
