My DSC-S40 sony cybershot camera was purchased as a gift for me last year at christmas.It has worked perfectly up until tonight(i even used it today).It has suddenly become splotchy and glare like.The photos upload fine to the computer but on the camera,they shake and have a very weird glare to them! Any answers?My warranty just ran out last month and im desperate.Thanks in advance!It is like the problem featured here:

except that is not the model of my camera.If you scroll down the page you will see a pic of a dog.That is the type of problem i am experiencing.

I read the link you give me and they give another link to sony support. In the page it said they will fix the problem for free until October 2, 2007. It's a DSC-P92 page but I suggest you to check with your local sony repair center and ask if your product also linked to this free repair

My DSC-T9 does that sometimes if I bang it around too much. I usually just pull the battery out for a few seconds, pop it back in then everything is fine again.
